Tea

Night number three of camping out on my bedroom floor. I had a nice, New-York-City-sort of day today. I figured I'd better make the most of my last days here.
After my cardiologist's appointment, I went to the EAT café on Madison Avenue for a smoked fish plate and tea. I had a book with me, but I didn't need it. Mainly watched the couples around me. A nice looking man with curly grey hair and blue eyes met my glance a few times. My lunch came to $28 before tip.
I then went across the street to visit L'Occitane, and bought a $30 scented candle for the house. I lit it in my bedroom tonight, and by the time I got under the covers after washing my face, the air was tinged with "Marina." It smells like fresh air and clean sheets. I guess, in NYC, that's worth about $30.
